Day 01 addendum.

Well, here's a use that I wasn't expecting to do today.  "How to wedge a rattling guard on an antique sword".  I'll be honest, there are better knives to do with with than the Mini Canoe, but it got the job done just fine.

To start off The Dean Traditional Challenge. I remeber Dean often carried two knives and he liked one of them to have stainless blades. Dean didnt like patina aka rust.   :D  He also like black covered knives and Barlows.  Here are my two knives to start things off with.

This is the knife that I won in the giveaway last year. As my only GEC, I have cherished it. This will be the only knife I use to earn a GEC badge during this challenge.

I did tote it today, and used it to cut some tape once or twice at work, but no pics. So after work I walked around the yard looking for a photo-op. I wound up inspecting some new growth on a fig tree that I thought had died last year.

I don't mind and will take separate pics for this challenge, just for next year: if it's a regular rule it should probably be mentioned in the challenge post rules.... or at all in the thread beforehand  :whistle:
