If you have kids or nieces or nephews, show them the picture of what you are missing and tell them that if they find it they can have 5 dollars or a slurpee (value depends on what you are looking for.   I have been amazed at how quickly things are found this way after days of me looking.

I had something similar happen recently. My SwissChamp was misplaced. There were only three places it could be: one of the dressers I use or the pilot's bag most of my knives and multis are in. I looked through all of them pretty extensively (or so I thought). I even asked the lady of the house if she'd seen a Swiss Army box randomly laying around (she hadn't). Then it hit me: the only place I didn't check was the "to-go" box. Therein, with other SAKs I intend to pass on, was the SwissChamp.
