Some cool people who we met at SHOT 2009
on: January 27, 2009, 04:39:27 AM

Warren Osborne, custom knife designer working often with Benchmade

Stuart Leatherman- the big man's son

Mikey (665ae) and Andy (EODTech)

Mikey (665ae), Johnny (Latino_Heat) and I can't remember the snake's name.

Joezilla, moderator of the Multitool Forum on Knifeforums.com

The infamous Cutlery Girl

Knife designing legend Blackie Collins

Ben Nyssen, Product Design Engineer and Stephanie Murphy, Brand Manager, both from Gerber

Lisa from WengerNA

Tom Stokes, designer with CRKT/ID Works

The Victorinox crowd- Cutlery Girl, Jeff Hoff, Renee, Rick Taggart and Mike Smith (not to be confused with our own Mike Smithson!)

Jim Nowka, owner of Knifeforums.com

Mike and a couple of girls who wanted him to come to their party.

The woman Mikey woke up next to and couldn't get rid of.

There were lots more we didn't get pictures of unfortunately.  It was a great weekend, and I'm looking forward to next year!

That's what it was!  I knew it was one of the kids from the Peanuts!  :D

Any chance next time we can come back after hours with a few beers and see if we can speed up that train a bit? :P

Ooooh... I'm in on that one!  I've never crashed a train.

I'll start the train at one end, you start the Pacifica at the other and we'll see who comes out better!

I'd just like to see how fast we could get it to go before it derailed...

That dummy sat on a little cart that was radio controlled.  He would wander around the aisle when traffic was slow.  I kept wanting to tackle the darn thing.

No, but Def should tell you about the people we did drink with after the show.  Their part of the reason I became an alcoholic in 4 days.

LOL.  I've pinned that train AND derailed it.  Hell, we don't even have to do it after hours!!

Ok, maybe we do for the derailing part.

I think derailing it is a must... it just wouldn't be as fun if we didn't crash it.
