LoopCutter I hope that Buck will feature prominently in the challenge.

Old Lefty, I had to look up the TOPS Micro Hawk and it is not a fixed blade knife in the conventional sense.   However, because you said you carry it often instead of a conventional knife and I'd love to see how you use it for a month I will allow it.  I hope to see some other knives from your collection as well.

Thanks! I will try and favour all normal fixed blades but will sneak the MIcro Hawk in as well!

Still plenty of time to sign up.  You can carry any fixed blade that you want as long as it is legal and safe for you to do so and you can carry the same knife all month or do a rotation.  You can carry other knives and tools so long as your fixed blade is your primary cutting tool for the month.  One member who completes the challenge will be awarded with this Laser-engraved Gerber Vertebrae in Cyan which was made for comfortable, all-day use with its fat and cushiony grip and compact size.  Just copy and paste the sign up list and add your name!

This will be an interesting 30 days for me as I have only carried a fix blade while camping or in hunting excursions.

Entertaining neck carry, pocket carry and belt carry of a few knives. Almost a distraction to the RangerII challenge :ahhh. What to buy more Rangers or more fixies.

Alan has also added an incentive!  :woohoo:

Copy and paste the list above and add your name to join the fun!

Also, SurgeUK included another option to add a Dixie to your collection by supporting the site in September. FOR EACH $10 donation to the MTo budget and it gets you ONE CHANCE

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

One cool looking knife indeed the Gerber. Spiffing of you Alan!
Whilst toting my Beretta Hammer-tool I've also spend few hours today carrying a fixie scout style. I've never done that before and thought I'd test it out before the game really starts. Works quite well, but I'm yet to be convinced on merits over more traditional ways.

I didn't buy any Russian AK bayonets when they were being sold for five bucks each, even though I liked them, because it wasn't a high priority and I thought they would always be available.

Unfortunately I paid a lot more than 5 bucks for this one. Was late to the game as well.
