Start a new thread with a photo showing the axe in use

I figured I would try something different for this badge. Who said anything about fire axes!

On engine one we have two small and two big axes. The smaller ones are used the most, conveniently carried on the hip. Normally smoke diver one is responsible for the hose nozzle, while diver two carries the IR camera, tools and handles the extraction of people.

The fire axe has a variety of uses, pretty much the multitool of a fire. From breaching, prying, wedging, obstacle clearing, etc.

I hope this qualifies for a badge. :tu:

Thanks old Lefty! I forgot to mention that the axe used for this badge is from the Norwegian brand Øyo, founded in 1882.
