As there’s enough of us I’ve been thinking we should try and get a minichamp challenge badge

I’m definitely no artist but having a little spare time over lunch and the paint app on my laptop, thought I’d have a play :D

Love to see some designs from you all

Day 3
i received some spare parts from Surefire [SF customer rocks!],opening the box,i realized that the MC requires [from me] a fair amount of dexterity and concentration in use.

Nice variety of uses, y’awl - good to see the differing tools on the minichamp getting put to good use!

Day 4

Time to get some more coffee beans out of the freezer and into the vacu-jar. Now I know there’s an easy rip top to the packet, but ignoring it and using a Victorinox is the SAK way! Really enjoying this blend - makes a great cappuccino!

How does he like them? I’ve seen similar things like this I thought about getting for Bella but she is such a picky eater.  ::)

I haven't had to use anything else yet, which has been my experience in the past.  The 58 blades are as sharp as they come, and that combo tool is really handy.  Great turnout everyone!
Day 4: I love the Wharncliffe blade!  It makes a great cigar cutter

Day 1:
MC got off to an easy start. Woke up with a terrible headache today, so I settled for home office duty

(Image removed from quote.)
While I’m not convinced about the MC’s usefulness, it did a lot better than the Cadet in rounding out the titanium “theme”

Aicolainen, did you put that knife together?  I'm wondering what was used for the torx pins.

Thanks.

DAY 3

Today was a sort of "action/use" shot.

The No: 2 MC (Jelly) was used to remove batteries from some of the now defunct Halloween illuminations.

DAY 04

Figured I'd try and use most of the tools on this MC before the end of the month.

Today the scissors stepped up to trim up a label for my new clients working file. Filled the need just fine.

:iagree:

I awlso like the badge design. I'm limited to a phone and tablet, and not anywhere near good enough to come up with a design myself.

Day 4

Running a little late... :ahhh
But I did use the ruler to measure the tires on a Corgi Jeep FC-150. The ruler is likely to get some more use later in the challenge.

I got that one with a newer model (that has interior, suspension, and bed cover). The one in the photos is the worse of the two. They're in the avatar I'm using as of this post.

Fantastic uses y’awl!

Day 5

Yesterday was busier than I expected after coffee, and I ended up not having time to do the crossword, so first thing I decided to give it a go over coffee with the midnite minichamp’s pen - not the easiest pen to use, takes a bit of getting used to! Anyhow crossword completed, and I’ll save doing today’s until after I’ve finished prepping a casserole…..

For a small badge, you could use one arm with the MC over the bicep and the 30 at the top.

Cheers, Echotech - going to get started on today’s now that the casserole ingredients are in the slow cooker, though I’ll be back to using a fountain pen!

Day 5 bonus

Prepping ingredients duty, though the small blade was great on the garlic dicing, it had to cede to its bigger brother on dicing onions, celery, carrots, spuds, swede and pork for the pot. Used cider (Cornish, my childhood county, though we refer to it as a duchy!) to deglaze the pan after browning off the pork - it’ll smell lovely for hours to come! Now on with today’s crossword!

:iagree: a cuppa is my preferred drink (though I do like a daily coffee too!) - I enjoyed one while completing todays’s crossie - didn’t take long, and I’m afraid a real pen beats using the midnite minichamp any day! In this case a Visconti Homo Sapiens Crystal Dream.
