What happened to the Crater series knives?
on: October 12, 2022, 05:53:56 PM
Seems the C33T series is discontinued, prices on  the bay have doubled, same for the juices. I'm trying to fing gently used for work/edc. Self retired my older sister E33 series due to nigh impossible to easily replace. Prices have went way up on all multi tools. Did the T series kill off the Craters with screwdrivers? Major bummer.

I would say that the Free series had a hand in the Craters being discontinued  :-\ They were nice knives but I rarely carry mine :dunno: now I have a real reason not to carry it because of it being discontinued

I liked mine, my work knife is resting on top of garage refrigerator for soda case and water packaging opening, a couple more still in blister packs.

I had a very restrictive work site that prevented liner lock and frame locks.  Allowed utility and lockback knives. Started my relations with a Buck 110😉.
Also, my ST300 when inspected was declared a lockback by site safety guru.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

PS:   Did not Leatherman rotate out their knife patterns every three years or so?
