Saturday, I had the content scattered across the table when my 15 yo grandson stoped by, he ask what the STUFF was and I explained. He liked the concept, was poking around and two items caught his eye. He fiddled with both and told him if he want both I would make sure the box would be right by items added.

He asked for opinion, I winked and told home it is his call, MTs are a very personal selection process.  He asked to go upstairs, was gone about 20 minutes.
Came down, picked the Bolster.  I asked why. He answered, “looked at your box, removed several from the sheaths and looked em over.  You have a whole bunch of Leatherman and only 2 of this the brand.  Obvious choice!”

I agreed to hold it for him until I did my selection pick. He will get this weekend. Unless I visit him early.

So great to pass things along like that :salute: my daughter has picked a knife out of the box each time I have had it :D

She has plenty of MTs and knives but the knives she picked were different than what she has and she liked the idea of having something different  :tu:

I'm so happy y'all made the contents available to your kids, grandkids, or whomever.  Its all the same with the love being spread to those we love. 

Heck on that note maybe I'll get back in line?  I never gave my partners son the option to take anything.  I'm guessing by now its all different? 

Lets see if anyone new pops in to receive the box. 

Come on y'all dont be shy.  The cost of shipping is worth what you'll take out plus the poking thru the box and letting go of stuff.

Yes, it is a tit for tat arrangement!

I like to spread cheer and sharing a quality item found at a bargain via this box is a good thing, or even a item caught my eye back yesteryear but not or barely used, knowing the next person or person after that may say I can use this…

I would luv to forward the box on, to be honest, it is yet open, I have added items since I completed my exchange, some brand new in packaging😉

Agree with letting your partners, friends, etc. take a peek. It's a great way to get them into the hobby, or to help people upgrade from junk to a half decent knife.

Box was sealed, addressed and delivered to USPS FWA on Monday.

Tracking number provided to Roberts, eta delivery is 3/15!

It's been pretty hectic here lately, so I still haven't officially locked in my box goodies. I'm going to spoil the mystery a bit here to ask what the grey block on the left is. It's too soft/spongy (I think) to be a sanding block or sharpening stone.

Plugged the box on the SAK board, so maybe we'll get some interest from there.

That is what I thought it was as well.
Can conform to the shape of the blade, it is fine grit.

Besides it did not weigh much, just took up space.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

That was the consensus in the other thread as well. I've more or less got my picks made, so I'll try to get them posted tomorrow.

I'll be going to the post office tomorrow to send Buck a 110 for service. If anyone can get me their address in the next 12 hours or so I'd love to drop this off along with it.
