...hope the emergency is resolved !
It more or less, sorta-kinda is.

Do people still listen to CD's....
In my case, awlmost never. But then again, I don't listen to music much anymore.

Day 29
:like: What sort of plant is that?

Day 28

I've dispatched six-pack holders in challenges before...but never with a fixed blade.

Not positive FX but think it’s a Night blooming cereus after a quick search

Day 28

Busy day, including a trip to the urgent clinic (so much faster than the ER) for stiches. Nothing too serious,  thankfully. Opened the mail with the CRKT, but didn't grab a pic, so I snapped a quick glam shot of the Opinel.

BP, glad you weren't seriously hurt, but needing stitches is not always minor.  Just ask the resident Irishman about that.

Day 28
Feeling as if I had been neglecting the Leatherman Wave in my pocket, I decided I needed to use it to prepare a snack.  So, I used it to slice off a nice, creamy piece of Brie cheese and to smear the cheese on to some crackers.

Needing stitches is not always minor.
I've needed stitches and staples before. Both turned out to be relatively minor in the long run, but the stitches sure didn't seem that way at the time.

Glad BPRoberts is okay!

Unleashed the hidden front pocket on my Surge kit so I can add a Pocketwrench to it. That definitively packs it to the max now...  :P

A second before I took this picture Elsa had her paw on the Wave and was sniffing at it.  Somehow cats sense when you're about to take their picture and always manage to ruin the perfect shot. ::)

Day 29

So yesterday's picture probably would've been opening the mail. I got a phenomenal deal on this '43 Soldier in good condition. Never expected to be able to afford any kind of an 1890 variation, so I'm glad I snapped it up.

wenger.jpg
* wenger.jpg (Filesize: 133.97 KB)

Unfortunately, I wound up slicing my finger with it when I was cleaning and checking it. The blade got stuck, and even though I wrapped it just to be safe when I was levering it open, the blade sliced clean through a folded over towel and into my finger.

Made it through to the fat layer (which looked great oozing out!) but the physician's assistant who stitched me up said it doesn't look like it made it deep enough to damage any ligaments or anything.

It doesn't hurt too much today. We'll see in a week or when they remove them.

Day 30

Having carried the Buck 113 these last two weeks it’s become a firm favourite, just feels totally right :like:

I did miss not having a SAK or MT (which I did have the first two weeks) but not as much as I thought I would

Many thanks to Nix and comis for running the challenge, it’s definitely a bit of fun as it was last time :hatsoff: :tu:

Having mislayed my trusty Pioneer I had to switch tools (hope its not having a journey in the washing machine right now  :ahhh).

So I took the next level, a orange Farmer.
