Free P2 Dirty - Inside Sealed Package??

I bought a couple Free P2 NIB off eBay, but looking at them in the package, they have a lot of dirt or grit accumulated around the plier heads, and even what looks like some scratches or scuffs.

Is this normal? Or is there any way to open the boxes without damaging the seals? I'm just wondering if these were returned items that have been sneakily repackaged.

I'd like to see what the general consensus is before I open them. I know they're tools meant to be used, but I want to get what I paid for, even off eBay. If I'm going to return them I want them to be unopened still so I can't be accused of being the one to gunk them up and change his mind or something.

Looks more than just "schmutzy" (which does happen from the factory sometimes). I'd return unless you got a really good deal.

It does look dirty :think: Possibly repackaged but it could be as BPR said and  just schmutzy :D

If you aren't happy with it, then I would return it before opening it, otherwise open it, clean it some and enjoy :cheers: (especially if you got it for a really good deal) :ahhh :tu:

If you got a really good deal and intend to use them, then use them. Dirt and scratches will be there day 1 after use
