If you could have one fixed and one folding for every knife brand. What would you get for:
Victorinox: Outdoor master, Pioneer
Buck: 119, 110
Opinel: - -. no 08
Morakniv: Eldris, - -

Well with one exception, these are knives I have and carry/use. There are more that I wished I had, or I have but rarely to never use (mostly my fixed-blades).
There are several brands I wished I had not bought anything from them, but here we are :D. Guess that would be a different list.


It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Fixed, I’m with Aloha :iagree: H30119 the prettiest fixed blade I own

Folding, well I could have included my 252208 Barlow, but I actually really like the much larger 971119 Tidioute Hunter




Opinel
Fixed, cheese knife
Folding, agree with #8, even though #9 pictured. That’s cos it’s carbon and my #8 is SS. SS more practical in the kitchen where I use it every day, but carbon….




Victorinox
Don’t own a fixie but do own quite a few folders :whistle: can’t go past the FarmerX in my mind, but many other honorable mentions including PX, Swiss Champ, Huntsman, Climber, Rambler, Cadet, all soldiers, Waiter, too many…..



Mora
Although I’ve larger Mora’s the one that has won my heart is the Eldris, nothing else quite like it

In order,

Case Folder. Tony Bose Premium Stockman. This one comes in 154CM blades.  Its larger than I typically like but I am fan of Tony Bose.  I also really like the color on the bone. 

BarkRiver Fixed. Bushcrafter 3V.  I won this in a very generous GAW by NIX.  It is one I will cherish and pass down to my kids.
 
Benchmade Fixed. Contego.  I bought this from a member.  I was wanting a fixed in premium steel this is S30V.  I saw it up for sale and couldn't pay fast enough. 

Benchamde Folder. MiniGriptillian 555 154CM.  My partner wanted this one for such a long time but I ended up getting her a Chaparral.  This one is 154CM which is a favorite steel of mine.  I  love the size and Axis locks.  I didn't get the love for the Griptillians, I do now!
   
GEC Folder. Pemberton.  Bought off a member and it was love at first sight.  One of my most carried trads.  There is not one thing I don't love about this knife.  Well, I don't love that I do not have a second or third. 

GEC Fixed. H30119.  Oddly my first GEC.  Thanks to comis I was able to narrow down which of the sizes would be suit me.  I am so pleased with this knife, can you tell from the patina?
