A pre Evo? Doesn't do anything for me, but for the Buy it Now price, it better be silver!
I guess you would expect a hallmark for solid silver? Either was not very attractive even if the ergonomics did work.
Though the price seems rather ridiculous, the seller deserves kudos for a detailed description.
Ridiculous or not, it's still cheaper than the "off white" monstrosity that's coming directly from Victorinox.
It's not greater than 50% silver, and that silver is worth less than $75. Making those scales would not be difficult, speaking as someone who has worked with silver. And the write-up seems a bit fantastical.
I'm certain it's a one-off. You think the guy's father/previous owner made it himself, to better suit his own grip?
So now a BIN price of $575 and no auctionAlso not claiming silver scales anymore Also this "Overall, this watch has been a part of my life for the last few years…"Watch? Is it really a Supertimer under those scales? !!I do find some of his rhetoric a bit much - eg "Sending it round the country to everyone knowledgable in the industry"Everyone? I didn't see him ask anyone here!!!
