Multitool with small secondary blade
on: November 22, 2022, 09:15:36 PM
I know many Swiss Army knives have a small secondary blade, but I do not think I own any Leatherman style folding tool that has one. Many I own have a second blade, but it is normally a large, serrated type. Is there any larger full-size plier based multitools out there that have this feature?  :dunno:

Some of the older SOG Power Plier tools had a small 1-inch blade that was really useful.

Both the Leatherman Sidekick and Leatherman Bolster have a full sized plain edge blade along with a smaller fully serrated blade

I''d forgotten about the Sidekick. That small hollow-ground serrated blade is like a scalpel  :salute:

Perhaps a good opportunity to pair your full-size pliers-based MT with a Peanut or Vic Classic?

I have a ton of Victorinox knives, but not the classic. I always found it too small. One of my favorites I sometimes have on me is the Tinker. I was just surprised that the small blade was not too commonly found on full sized multitools.
