Over the past year, I've gotten to really like the warncliffe version of the CRKT Minimalist for this kind of work. Nothing too exotic, mostly just shims and trap sets, that kind of thing.

Back last summer I got a Mora carving knife and have made a few useless things with it.

Thanks, guys! I'll see if I can fond some more pics when I get home.

I'm surprised no one else has posted their knives in this thread.  There used to be quite a few members who would post up things they'd whittled.

Useless, but still very impressive. And perhaps not as useless as you'd think

Wanted to bumb this topic.

I have some issues at the moment, burn out.
Whittling helps me cool my mind.

Years ago I started with pocket knives, but soon switched to dedicated tools because working with them is much more fun.

Have a bunch of Flexcut knives and Pfeil, put together a toolroll that contains my most used ones when I am out (sitting in nature and doing crafts boosts my strength so much).
Adding a strop and I am good to go.

Just few examples of the things I did.
First some kitchen utensil for the kids, then a ball (more precise an egg) in a cage, 5minutes owls (lots) and other easy figirines.
Next project will be a chain.

Hope you dont mind my grave digging.

I do most of my carving with a Whittler pattern knife or something I modified for the task.

Another meditation session.

Was a hard path on cutting all parts.
Saw some youtube videos on how others did it and to improve myself  afterwards, only to find out almost everyone uses saws and drills to speed up the process.
Thanks, but no.

I will continue with my knife only, will do the finishing job tomorrow.
