Badge Request Fire Making

I typically use my Spirit when outside, but occasionally I will pocket my Swisschamp. Seeing as I’ve paired the swisschamp with my PST today, I thought I would give it a go with my ferro rod.
Late September I bought a new UCO ferro rod and practiced with my Spirit.

Today I was also able to throw some good sparks with the Swisschamp saw. Non locking tools are challenging and I nearly clamped my hand a few times. Gotta use the saw teeth. Caught a ball of dryer lint and got some good smoke and small flame. I always scrape some of the rod to flake onto the lint for additional sparks.

Added more tinder to the fire pit and it caught! Everything was super dry and dead so no problem. The end result after a few minutes of feeding it and remembering to take a picture:

Congratulations on the badge!
Nice ferro rod, too; I need to get a bigger one.

Bit late to the fire, nice job. The SAK saw is a great tool for ferro rods.
