Lisa and the Bantam Phantom
on: November 17, 2022, 03:47:59 PM
Perusing the Bantam thread, I see that tomorrow is the two year anniversary of Lisa (FolderBeholder) finding her lost, treasured, Bantam.

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,85871.0.html

My favorite parts of that story were the great community support and empathy, the humor in the fact that Lisa can misplace entire boxes of knives that many of us would consider central to a collection - without her even realizing it, and finally, learning the story of the Bantam Phantom.

My Mods: 58mm Workshop, 91mm Picnicker, CyberCompact
Some Fav's: long nail file models, vintage unusual stainless
Quirk: I like the metal file more than the wood saw

Ah yes, the Bantam Phantom!

I lost a Yeoman once, and found it 6 months later in my travel bag, where I had tucked it so as to avoid carrying it on the airplane.

I am happy that such a great person as Lisa was reunited with a beloved SAK.  She has helped me many times.

Thank you for the kind words.  :hatsoff:

So true!  I lost my first knife, a Camper back in 1991.  Thankfully I didn't lose the Bantam after all, that would be difficult to replace.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.
