Hello everyone. The parental units bought me a Zippo fire maker kit and a used Leatherman Wave with bit kit. Yippie. Fun stuff.

Dont listen us but probably you dont listen us but you do as we do, first we get one then you need second cause 1=0 and 2=1, then multitools just appears somewhere like your MTs just multiply.

A Leatherman Wave would make any Christmas great!  It is one of the absolute best models Leatherman ever put out.

What a great gift!  The WAVE is a great Multi-tool, and then some on this site may just say you could get a better model, like a CHARGE!!!!

or, others like me :D,  think the REBAR is the best LM MT for the dollar.  Coyote Brown is real cool. :D 

and, then you really should explore the original, a POCKET SURVIVAL tool (PST, to fully appreciate the genius of Tim Leatherman. (many can be found on the auction site, that are like new)

It is also, very wise to AWL-ways, have MT within arms reach, at awl times ;)

No worries, you will get there, there are yet a few more days in 2023 :woohoo:

Your right, only difference between Wave and Charge is Scales and Blade, but if you can fimd brand new Charge lower than Wave then choose it. I boughted my Charge TTi+ brand new from second hand way (it was in sealed clampack) and payed only 70€ for it but that was few years back.

You must always prepare for the enablers on MTo 😉.  Because is never a lack of view points, and often variations of models are always better.

Yet, my take away regardless of model of choice, it is always important to have quantity!  :rofl:
