Heard that the reason why they have corkscrew and bottle opener as part of the kit so as to allow customers to feel the handle ergonomics. Not a fan of any marketing but this one I don’t mind.

There are few things I hate more than ads!

I think it's less for the people who buy the calendar (who probably are already sold on the brand) than it is for their friends! I got a lot of questions about and comments on last year's bottle opener when barbecuing this year. A lot of people who don't pay attention to tools now know the Wera name.

I still haven't tested last year's openers to failure.  >:(

I think that is most of the point of these sets- getting the name out.  And it works, whether directly or not.

I wouldn't have even gone looking for the Mastercraft kit if the Wera set hadn't been posted here every year.

I got lucky. Back in 2020 The 2019 Wera advent calendar dropped from $44 to 34 which at the time was a price of just the T handle screwdriver and everything else was basically free.  Wish I bought 2 sets.

Been checking last year’s sets ever since at the end of each year.

Will do. I usually post. Sorry 2019-20 was bad so my mind was elsewhere. Like pandemic, laid off a few times, death, loss of friends bad.

The positive is that it taught me to be more empathetic and grateful.
