Very nice images Myron - Thanks for posting

Pioneers can be bought new for less than $50 and a 93mm Voyageur at $35 to $40 would be about the right price. I'll take one at $37.99 on Amazon.

I guess you mean a PX ???
Can't see the price coming that low as the scissors are the most expensive tool that Vic makes, by some orders of magnitude, according to Victorinox.

Myron those are great, which one gets the most carry time?
I have always been curious how the spacing and fit worked on the originals with the cap lifter in place of the combo tool. Any pictures from above?

Thanks, Enginears.  The little cap lifter tool poses no problem because it is shaped differently than most.  It's sort of swedged away on the correct side so that it folds up nicely against the knife blade.   If you look at the cap lifter on a Cadet, it's the opposite of that.

Actually, my Mon-Fri office carry is the nail file mod.  I love that little knife.  When the weekend comes I usually pick up a Pioneer X, Yeoman or similar.  :)

Looks to be a pretty genuine photo - Vic style - But I guess photoshop etc can do anything!!

I quite like the colour - But not for me .... too much money and not really collecting anymore :(

One thought:
It's surprising that the Classics stay in this set - Given awl the new Classics last year:  Classic Colours; Precious Alox etc etc
They should make the Annual Alox 58mm the Rambler!! I would buy one of those!!

It's been a while since we heard anything on this.  When are the annual limited edition models typically announced?

I’ve just had an e-Mail from Victorinox saying that the 2023 editions are now available - just ordered a PX which I hope to see before the week is out!

Much better looking on the white background than the yellow one. Excited to see how they look for real.

I agree that the color is much more appealing against a white background. I’m not sure why Victorinox insists on using the image where the background is the same color as the alox scales as the primary marketing image.

It’s not necessarily my favorite color but I’m tempted by the Pioneer X nonetheless.

The Pioneer X is tempting. But I don't have overwhelming FOMO. We shall see.

My Pioneer X arrived today. I think it's beautiful, but yellow is my favorite color so I may be a bit biased.

I've seen a few "wild" pics now, and they definitely look a lot better than the promo shots. Kind of embarrassing for Vic. I'm not an LE guy, but I'm always a fan of brightly colored tools. Nothing worse than dropping something dark in the leaves at night.

I got mine, and they aren’t just yellow, there’s definitely some green in the yellow color.  Maybe chartreuse is most accurate?  I don’t think mine are as bright as the “in the wild” pics I’m seeing.  They look great though, I’m very happy with the 2023 color!

Good to see some getting to customers - mine still hasn’t been picked up from the Vic warehouse in Germany despite being ordered on Monday morning - so much for 3-4 days delivery LOL!

Wow - April! That is bad…. Also just received an email from Victorinox asking “We hope you’re enjoying your purchase” - according to the tracking they sent me it’s still in Germany waiting for DHL to pick it up!  A case of left hand not knowing what the right is doing!

Thanks for posting the picture!

As I suspected, the color is WAY more appealing to me when viewed in a "real life" picture than it is in the promotional render of the SAK.

Now I want one...

Excellent news, Myron! No idea why mine still hasn’t been picked up by DHL - I’ll certainly be asking Victorinox what went wrong when it does get shipped - it’s not been like this before…. Cracking pics though!
