Nice one, Steve! :tu: Looks like someone really enjoyed using that PST.

I bought it new in the early 1990's and carried it for work everyday for 20 years

I gave it a bit of a rehab some years back

Yep, ordered last week.   Right now studying this new addition.  A first in my tool family.
By the weekend it may make an appearance!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Close, but not quite.  I love them though.  I remember getting my first PST II and telling Mrs R that I had found the ultimate multi tool.  That was a long time ago and a bunch of PBMTs back

PST Tuesday

My PST came in handy early this morning!

Returning from an early walk in the dark, yes, the sun was still below the horizon.

I noticed my side light next to service garage was flickering on/off! Thought the bulb was loose, but as I approached the light did not turn on, just continued flickering.   Bulb was tight, backed it out and back into the socket.

Used the Phillips of the PST to access the motion sensor, and cleared away some spider webs. Still flickering. Noticed a small adjustment screw, a tiny screw.

The very small flat blade slipped in and a very small tweak, the light lit up!!!

Put the sensor shield back in place. Walked away, out of range and after a couple minutes the light shut off.

Then walked toward it from the side and about twenty feet away it turned on, full brightness 😊.

No phone with me this morning, but a photo with other items I will use today.  RED items, I think there is a theme thing going on…

Gordon, I think that's the first time I've ever heard of someone using that screwdriver. Great job!

Looking great for PST Tuesday! A pic in honor of the tiny screwdriver.
I say this every year, but I'm still wondering why I ever moved beyond the PST?!

To be real honest here!

I never ever really noticed that small flat before today☺️

I have used the pliers, the wire cutters, the blade, AWL, Phillips and larger flat blades. But,  I think I have always overlooked it.   In the dim morning light, I was going a flat blade would fit the tiny screw, and like magic that narrow thin flat blades just popped out of the clump like here I am.

Even when I extracted to take the picture I had to look closely to make sure I had it, and not the awl.

For me, I taught myself something NEW about a tool I have done two previous challenges with and have carried frequently since obtaining my first one just a few years ago.

  :woohoo: :multi:  So  :viking:
