Day 21 - Schrade Navi-Tool / I-QUIP - both have the same tools. I-QUIP has digital alarm, altimeter, backlight, barometer, compass, stopwatch, and thermometer.  The good old days before smart phones.
Very interesting.  How is it to use the knife and other tools?  It looks like it would be awkward.

Sherry, Awkward is what this tool is all about. The size of the compass plus an adjacent compartment designed to hold a bic lighter (matches, etc...) makes this thing virtually unwieldable, but in a pinch I guess you can make due. Needless to say this was more a novelty, shelf queen(ish?) tool.

Day 23, CRKT Tool, to my knowledge this is the only tool to date with automatic button opening Phillips and Standard Screwdrivers. Got one of these off Grant not too long ago to give to my dad as a gift. Big fan of the easy access T shank drivers.

Day 24, Always liked Case knives since I was a child. Yeah, the steel may not be top of the line, but it was the type of knife all the older people that influenced my life carried. So I always hoped Case would make a multitool. Sad to say, with exception of a few models with SAK like pliers  that  still to this day they have not produced a single “multitool.” So closest I have found is the Blackie Collins designed the Case Fixxit and Shooter’s tool. Both are simplistic, but unique and functional.

Day 25, FlipGrip Multi Tool., another unique tool. Build quality is not up to Leatherman, Victorinox, etc…, but it is functional.

Day 26, Wenger Pocketgrip 577, MTs like this make me wonder if Wenger was still in business what kind of modern MTs would they have come up with in comparison with all the competitors?

I really love this one and kick myself for not getting one back years ago when I had the chance

Wenger always had some of the best designs and came out with some very awesome stuff  :salute: hated to see them leave the market

Day 27, Ganzo 31-B, no a big fan of any tool with external spring on plier head, but this one actually has surprisingly good construction.

Day 28, Crescent Toolzall Electrician Multi Tool, several different specialty electrician multi tools exist, but when I need to strip wires this is the one I always seem to use.

Saint Patrick’s Day, One manufacturer always releases special editions on Saint Patrick’s Day, Ernest Emerson. So this is the Emerson EDC 1. D2 PVD coated mini commander blade with Emerson opener. Basic tool set with to the best of my knowledge the first removable wrench on a tool.
Ok that’s awesome

Day 30, took me a while to decide what to show on day 30. The one multitool that I have never seen a good alternative to is the Gerber Multi-Plier 650 Evolution. This kit is intact minus the EOD plier head. Have it somewhere, but doubted I’d ever need it for obvious reasons.
