Ordering from Switzerland

I was thinking about ordering a couple alox knives from Swiss Army Store but have never ordered from Europe.  Do you get charged a duty or tax when they get to The United States?   Thanks

Generally speaking, the answer is “no”.

The last time I ordered something from Switzerland (on the ‘bay), I got free shipping and paid normal PA (where I live) sales tax of 6%.

I’ve never had an extra charge for receiving anything in from Europe.

The worst problem is that they sometimes use DHL.

Good point. DHL may well be the worst carrier out there.

I've never paid import duties on anything I've purchased from points abroad.
