Pocketwrench II
on: March 18, 2023, 06:47:28 PM
So after have a quick chat with someone on here i found that these are now quite hard to come by. Especially in the UK. Anyone in the UK happen to have one going spare they no longer use. Or anyone in the US (which i imagine is more likely) happen to have one the would be will to send over the pond.
Sure we can try and work something out.
Thanks for looking hope your all having a great weekend.  :drink:

Patience is a virtue :)
If you are still looking, I have one to part with. It's been in the work shed forever. It's only opened paint tins. The drive and wrench adapters are unused. The plating is probably 80- 85 %. Message me if you are still searching.
I'm a avid reader, who's never quite taken to the internet , so I'll check back infrequently.

And if the US are to far/expensive in postage, I should have an "EDC" branded remake. I bought two and number on still works fine. I bought that copy, because I only learned about them when they were no longer made...

Necrothread revival.

If you are still looking for one of these and are based in the UK, eBay currently have the ‘EDC’ knockoff brand version of these available.

I have no links to the seller, cannot vouch for them etc, but having just seen this I will be ordering at least one myself, as the Pocket Wrench is just one of those things I’ve always found useful and really could do with a spare.

There are three Pocket Wrench trads available on US eBay at the moment for anybody who is interested:

It can't be used to pry or as a flat head screwdriver, but it is a bit more versatile as a wrench. And the trapizoidal hole works with 1/4" drivers.

Further to my post of 07 July. I did pick up one of those EDC brand kickoff versions from the UK based E*ay seller. It seems ok to me, I have a couple of the USA-made Pocketwrench II’s and comparing it to them, I can’t see much difference.

As before, I’ve no links to the seller or anything, but these EDC branded versions seem like a reasonably good copy.
