Been busy, so not been on for a bit, but, just to let you all know:-

Our little girl got me the Super Tinker for Father's Day in June  :D

She had remembered the name when I spotted one in a local store by remembering "Tinkerbell", and was able to tell her mum what to order!

Tinkerbell has not left my pocket since that day!

Yep, it’s replaced my faithful, but long retired, Climber. It packs a lot of EDC punch for its size :)

I've carried a Deluxe Tinker for years when out and about, but have never used the pliers or scissors. I have a Super Tinker, but never carried it due to my experience with the Deluxe. I'm thinking of just carrying my Tinker for everything. It seems to have all the tools I use at home or about. A lot lighter too than the belt pouch with my Deluxe Tinker. Another case of maybe less being more than more.  ???

Yes, have a small Tinker. Would do in a pinch, just like the 91 mm blade length.

In your situation I would go with the regular Tinker and add a Classic SD to your key ring.  I keep my keys in my left pocket and my Tinker in my right pocket.  It distributes the weight more evenly and I still have scissors if I need them.  I agree with you though less is more.  I have been going with a Cadet and Rambler combo over my Super Tinker and I really like it so far.

This has been my EDC for a while. Changed the original scales from almost new to green plus scales.
Love this knife.
I used to carry other knives, but where I'm from you'd likely end up in front of a magistrate for carrying a sharpened over ripe banana. At any rate, the utility, discretion and size of the Super Tinker are a winner for me.

I picked up a Super Tinker a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend as we were running out the door with my wife in labor at 1:30am, I grabbed the first knife I felt in my valet tray. Just so happened to be my Super Tinker. So it has special sentimental value as it was in my pocket when my 3rd child was born. It fits my needs just about perfect for my EDC.
