Gerber MP400 retainer clip

Like the title says.  Need a retainer clip for a Gerber MP400

You can fill in a warranty/parts claim and get replacement clip; I've done it for an MP600 and, not only the clips but they also sent the release buttons and springs (I only needed clips). Mind you, it took mines a while for them to come in.

The retainer clips on the MP600 are larger than the clips for the MP400.  I did do your homemade clip. that worked well. I read someone used C clip retainer clips in a pinch. so I tried to find some at my hardware store.  I came up with the attached.   but it won't attach to my post...
