Best EDC camper/scout pattern?

I'm starting to dabble in some more traditional knives, and I'd like to pick up a classic scout/camper for possible EDC. What brands/models (not counting the Pioneer) offer the best bang for your buck these days? Can be current production or used, but I want a day to day user, not an expensive/irreplaceable shelf queen.
Merit Badges Participate in a Challenge and post a photo of a Traditional Scout Knife (No SAK's Allowed) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Test,please ignore Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Case knife  for 30 days Must start a thread with a photo of your birth year SAK Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo  of 84 and 85 mm Swiss Army Knives (and Wengers) for 30 days Participate and post a pic of your vintage SAK (1986 or earlier) everyday for 30 days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a MiniChamp SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Start a new thread and post a picture of fire making kit or fire with a multitool Start a new thread and post a photo of an Executive or Director for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with a photo showing the Hook in use Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. SMKW did a YouTube on their best selling traditional knives. Rough Rider Camper came up as #1. Though at that price it’s not surprising.

I keep going back to it a few times as the stag looks really great, but that Made in China always throws me off. But lots of good quality knives from China nowadays.

That RR is interesting. Stud and small blade instead of CO.

It looks like it could be a small blade with a thumb stud, but it is a can opener, albeit not a common design these days.

I did a little more digging, and it looks like RR makes multiple scouts. Some have the "claw" style can opener, others have other style. This video shows both of them, the stud serves a similar purpose to the hook on modern openers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tckJlisfr1I

Chinese or not, you'd be hard pressed to find a better knife at 2-3 times the price.
