Congratulations,  nakken!
How is the clip, does it have side to side movement ?
I heard mixed reviews.
Cheers Vadim :hatsoff:

I bought a pocket clip for my original SwissTool a while ago and was very satisfied with it. Kudos to Victorinox for making them "backwards compatible". For the Spirit, I had the choice between a nylon sheath or the clip for the same price. Given my prior experiences with the clip that was easy. It sits well on the tool, holds it firmly to the pocket, and has a very sleak profile that does not dig into my palm. Personally, I prefer this clip over the Wave clip :tu:

Are all the new ones coming with the pocket clip or is that only on the one hand opening model?
Can I buy the clip by itself to add to my Spirit?

So far as I can see, no, not all models come with a clip, but you can get one for the SwissTool and SwissTool Soirit in black or silver finishes.

Oh, that takes me back. I literally waited months for a black clip. You might have better luck searching outside of Victorinox's site, there are probably vendors that are not listed by them. Good luck :tu:

I know they go in out of stock frequently, but at the moment both black and silver versions are available on Vic’s UK website (SwissTool & SwissTool Spirit)… https://www.victorinox.com/uk/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Knives/Accessories/Clip-Swiss-Tool-Spirit/p/3.0240.B1

Congratulations. My favorite Spirit
You're going to be amazed by this tool Nakken.  They're beautiful and well built, but also extremely rugged.  I love mine.  My son is the one who actually got me into them.  I have a full sized Swisstool RS that I carry for work, and he let me carry his Spirit for a month on a challenge.  It sold me!
The SwissTool, especially RS, is an exactly tool, but there is just something to the ergonomics and lightness of the Spirit that makes it a joy to carry and

That's exactly it Sherry.  It's a joy to carry, especially considering the tool density the Spirit has.

For some reason I had it in my head the BO Sprit had polished or chrome pivots.

Was I wrong?

For sure, much better than the Wave clip.

For those that asked the clip can be bought in its own and is backwards compatible for sure. Fit like a champ on my more then ten year old butter blade Spirit.

I'm going to join in on this one but I'll tell you, I'm not pleased about how the price of Spirits has doubled in the past 10 years.  I would carry a Spirit a lot more if I had an MX with the OHO blade, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on a new one.  I guess I'm just spoiled.  :dunno:

If anyone’s looking for a Spirit S, Adam5 is selling one.  https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,91279.0.html

I would’ve snagged this if I hadn’t already spent my MT budget for the month…the Alox challenge is very hard to resist

Thanks Barry.

I was looking through my records, and the last Spirit I bought was a BO "X" with cap crimper and molle sheath for $70 in 2014.  Now I'm looking at a silver MX with clip for $148?

CRAZY.  :poh:

I wish my income would increase at that rate!!!  :ahhh
