Day 27

I posted a couple times this month about how much I like my Trapper, but find it a little more knife than I like to carry on a daily basis. Fortunately, Case makes them in almost as many sizes as they do Stockmans, and I ordered this Mini Trapper. Haven't really gotten to carry it much yet (I'm really enjoying the trad folders more than I expected. Maybe I'll take it out for a month to switch up the Stockman), but some initial impressions:

1. This is my first CS Case. It just doesn't have the same ring as CV.

2. I appreciate the extra length on the spey, even if I miss it on the handle and the clip. Really, the 47 is just about the perfect size for handle and main blade. I'd love to see Case roll out a whole line of "47 size" knives in the other traditional patterns.

3. What's up with the "double" middle pin? It seems mostly cosmetic, not worth sending it back, but figure I should get a second opinion.

It took twice as long as they estimated,,, and I went home with a bonus incision,,,,,, but it's all over but the mending now. Fingers crossed that it works as good as they anticipate.

And yes,,,, I wore some loose basketball shorts per their request,,, but the mini trapper was in the front pocket.
