So i have a  Victorinox Mauser, just how sought after/rare are they?

I’m not quite sure what you are looking for here, so I’ll try to cover all the bases.

With regard to rarity, it is estimated that about 250,000 were made, so unless you have one of the less common variations I would say that they aren’t terribly rare in the grand scheme of things, though they are popular with collectors.

If you’re inquiring about value, I don’t feel qualified to give an estimate.  However, there are a number listed on ebay, so I would suggest following some and getting an idea of what they are actually being sold for (not necessarily what they are being listed for).

Thanks for that, i was wondering if it was worth holding on to as i like rare or sought after stuff plus i inherited various bayonets and other knives and swords from my late father.
