Old boy scout tool

      How about this scout folder?  It isn't exactly a knife, but it opens like one.  It is sort of a multi tool, right?
      You can't see it in the photo but there is a Boy Scout emblem stamped on the handle. The handles are like a spring.  They twist sideways when you open the blade/fork and put tension on so it snaps shut.  It is stainless steel and has no maker's mark.  I think it is part of a set.  Imperial maybe?
       We all know that the motto of the Boy Scouts is "Be Prepared".  This little tool falls right into line with that.  You never know when you might be required to eat something.  I wonder why they didn't make it with small spoon?  Maybe Boy Scouts don't eat soup.  Manly things like roasting weenies or maybe spearing some vienna sausages or sardines out of a can are more Scout-like.
       I have owned the thing for years.  I don't really know how long.

Definitely a MT with the bottle opener, not seen one quite like it before

     That bottle opener only works with soda bottles.  It wouldn't open a beer at all.  Got to love good engineering.     Best wishes. G

That's why it's a boy scout tool. Only man scout tools open beer bottles.
