Fishing is special with my grandfather's tackle

I have so many memories of fishing with my dad and grandfather. My grandpa's tackle was classy for sure.

Here is a picture of a newer Gerber Suspension NXT. Next to it is my grandfather's multi tool...a pair of nail clippers with a leather case. These were in his tackle box when I received it after his passing.

Also, I don't remember a day when my dad didn't have his in his pocket.

Good memories.

There's nothing more special.  I smoked when I read about the clippers.  My granddad did the same thing!  Good stuff!!

Much appreciated! And yes, the clippers are very handy for trimming line.

Great stories guys! 

My father doesn't do a lot of fishing any more these days and I really wish I'd spent more time fishing with him when I was younger.

Of course, now he likes to fly drones, so we did a lot of that last week together!
