No, to be fair, they are about average UK prices generally, and they do stock some great kit. I've always found cheaper for anything I might have bought from them though, but again to be fair to HH, that's usually from the US.

Ultimately, they all have to buy and sell LM gear at the prices that Whitby's enforce, so you don't tend to see much variation across different retailers.

There service is superb as well. if they have it in stock it will be with you the next day. Always worth looking through their clearance section.

Why not get something like stickers printed up and stick them where you want

Were they ever the cheapest? $:-\$ I totally agree though, it's nice to know they are there and you can relay on them, but I will always have a good look in other places as well.

For most stuff in the UK, yes I would say they were. Mostly because they stocked stuff that hardly anyone else did.

UPDATE: The Fallkniven pocket sharpener arrived the other day, and I just got chance to have a good look at it. As was suggested, it is two sided - DC on one, ceramic on the other, so there's not engraving to be done there.

Looking at the leather pouch (which is very good quailty btw), I think the only option might be to get small plates engraved and stick them on. It would look great, but I think they would eventually fall off. So maybe this isn't the way to go after all.

So, back to the drawing board.

Has anyone suggested a nice flashlight. The Fenix E01 has a small panel that could be engraved...a very small panel though, so keep it short

Well here is my thought process. I doubt we are going to find any one product that we all want, Bug, SAK, Artifact and sharpener all have issues for at least one or two people. I also think that either we all get the item or it's not the same somehow. £15 may not be a lot of cash, but it's more than I'd want to spend on something I didn't want. So either we:
A) drop the whole thing and buy extra booze (there will be booze, right?

) or

B) Spend just a few quid on something that we don't really care about but has the event detailed on it.

In other words, the dog tag idea.

Or something similar.
