I was sending in a 1998 swisstool x with Rusty plier handle pivots, a scissor that wouldn't open and a worn file. Sent on 8/10 a brand new replacement arrived today, 12 days later. When it showed I emailed because I didn't know what I was getting back, I had marked it sentimental. They apologized and explained the issues I had were considered wear not warranty, so if I wanted it repaired , they'd pay to ship it to Switzerland but I'd be charged for the repairs. I decided to keep the new tool instead.
I was expecting it to take months but it took them 2 days to decide and send me a brand new tool.
