Easiest sort of knife to lose.  Small and stainless steel.  The metal ones just seem to slip out of pockets and with the small size you don't notice they are gone.
I lose stuff all the time.  Almost daily.  For knives, the find rate is about 98% or better.  I bet it turns up.  Keep poking around.  Best wishes.  Gary

So sorry for your loss, I do hope it turns up, check couch cushions, crevices of car seats, laundry basket, around base of toilet,  :poh:

It has happened to us at some point, I have had Fisher bullet pen (s), jump from pockets, yes more than one!  And SAK Vagabond I carried for 20 years, just disappear.

It is a sickly, helpless feeling…

Keep us posted, a random call could come🤷‍♂️
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Sorry to hear that.

IMO, the turned stainless steel scales were some of the nicest Vic ever produced; both beautiful and durable.

As Gary says, keep looking for it and it may very well turn up.  Places I usually check for missing knives and other EDC type items include the pockets of the pants I was wearing, inside the washer and dryer, and the floor and under the seats of any vehicles I’ve been driving.

If all else fails, then you have one more option.  Sit down with a somber face and tell Blue Eyes while you are holding her dear little hand the truth.  Tell her you had two tickets to the show, but you lost them.  They were with a little silver pocket knife about ...so big.... last time you saw them.    Maybe she can find them.  Sniffle a little.  When she finds the knife, you will have to make good on the entertainment.  Small price.  Best wishes.  Gary

That's sad.

Check...
. Couch cushions
. Car seat and arm rest
. Where you parked at work or shopping
. Pants you wore
. Perhaps you used it for some seemingly insignificant repair

I know that feeling as I have misplaced a Bantam and have lost a Camper.
I sure hope your Broker is just misplaced.  Hoping for a good outcome.  :hatsoff:

Thanks for the kind words and good tips. I think I already looked everywhere but no luck. I will try to do one more search and rescue operation tomorrow…,

Well, the last resort is to try to get a new one and as soon the new one comes, the old one magically appears in a place you already checked three times before!

And of course tonight I will try the Blue Eye thing suggested by IMR4198!

Sorry to hear it, mate. But as others said, often times supposedly lost SAKs later turn up again. I once "lost" my EDC, a Huntsman Lite at that time, and eventually ordered a new one. Before it arrived, the original re-appeared. Well, now I have a NIB spare in case this happens ever again.

This often works for me (but not always, unfortunately).

Good luck with your search (making it as wide ranging as possible increases your chances of finding it, and can unearth other useful objects that you had misplaced and/or forgotten about).

I found it!!!! Actually the credit goes to my wife.

She found it in the washing machine! Where I obviously checked before but it got stuck in the rubber sealing around the drum  - very hard to see.

There are four scratches on the edge of one scale, but no other harm.

Super happy!
