I had a GOAT in my cart (shipping in October), but decided against it for now.  I don't dig the old-school Leatherman locking mechanism, and one reviewer showed that the cutters were not awesome.  I do think the modularity is great, and I like the overall design and spring-loaded plier.  I'll probably crack under the peer pressure and end up ordering one in the end.

I finally  received mine today after a bit of shipping issues (I have the Swedish letter "ä" in my adress which didn't work)! Although I must acknowledge that the tool feels a bit rough, I still think it is awesome! And the more I use it and get to know it the better it will become! So my advice is that you go right ahead and buy it!
