Leatherman Micra mod for a can opener?

I searched through the Forum but didn't see this topic (I apologize if this has been covered before), but I would like to know if anyone has added a can opener to the Micra?  If so, what tool did you cannibalize to fit the Micra?  What tool did you take out to fit the can opener?

Any help would be appreciated!

Kinda silly!   I have used the knife blade once!  It worked, just not certain how much metal ended up in the food?

Another silly item would be fitting a can opener on a SAK Classic.

But, with that said, would not surprise this oldster somebody has done it!!!

So ignore me😉
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hi Marty,

I don't think it will be a straight forward swap. The Micra has a smaller diameter pivot than the bigger LM tools, so swapping an opener from them will require either a bigger pivot on the Micra or trying to fill the hole on the bigger tool for the smaller pivot. If you go bigger pivot, you will have to drill the remaining tools to fit that.

Some pics for explanation. PST can opener with some Micra tools. Sorry for the blurry ones, they are difficult to take photos of.

Well color me red ☺️.   

Found that I own a Micra knockoff made by Sheffield (China), with needle nose pliers and a CAN OPENER 🥸

Found at a Pawn Shop several years ago and purchase for a couple $s

Tucked away with some small knifes and found this morning.

The Sheffield does not have the tweezers, and the small screw driver is slid over to the handle (were tweezers are) and the CAN OPENER is placed where the small screw driver is non a Micra.

If  you want more pictures ask and describe what you want and view. I only can try.
