Today's contribution from a busy day.......early start to go foraging for Sweet Chestnuts yielded over a kilo of nice chestnuts ready for roasting in the weeks to come.......but an early casualty was a broken nail (yes, us men have to suffer these indignities! :D).....so out came the MC to remedy the problem!.....lets see what else the day brings!

Day 3 of 30:
Quick post before I get busy and forget with all of our family coming in for my daughter's birthday. Used the main blade to cut my biscuits instead of tearing them open like a Neanderthal. Left over biscuits and gravy for lunch never disappoints.

I'm about to take off work and pick up my little boy to take him to the doctor. He gets his hard cast put on his arm today after 2 weeks with a splint. He is excited to have a camo cast for hunting season!

Mmmmm, biscuits.

Good news that your son is getting his cast, and better yet that they come in cool colors now.

Has anyone ever swallowed a Mini Champ, and then recorded the time it takes to transit the alimentary canal?  Asking for a friend.

Powernoodle Day 4

I bought a new hybrid Toyota Sienna AWD  :hatsoff:, and had to transfer my toll bridge transceiver to the new vehicle.  I used some killer 3M "Dual Lock", a.k.a. nuclear Velcro, and cut the strips with Mini Champ.  Dual Lock is awesome .

Pro tip:  ensure that the tools are closed before swallowing your Mini Champ.  Ouch!

As for the Sienna, one reaches a point in life when one no longer cares if he looks like a soccer mom.  Ambivalence feels awesome, let me tell you.

Day 4
Had a little thread fuzz on a multi-tool case that I knew pulling it wouldn't be a good idea.
MiniChamp scissors, well all Victorinox scissors, have always served me well.  It's perplexing how well a little pair of scissors can cut.

Feeling about as rundown as my old camo MC, today.   Last day before we lose DST.  Can't stand it being dark at 5:30 in the evening.
Oh well.  It is what it is.

I'll make it through, Gary.
Last several years the SAD seems to be getting worse.  This year we had our daughter and 2 of our granddaughters move back in and it's hard on this old guy.

Definitely don't recall having this much trouble raising my two girls when I was twenty something years younger.

Day 4

Again a slow day for the MiniChamp. I only used the small Philips to push a reset button. The 58 mm combo tool is incredibly useful imho - the cap lifter works well and the small Philips is great for electronics/battery cases. At the same time, it can be used as a pointy push tool.

Cheers,

Simon

:iagree: Although I have to admit I also mourn the loss of DST. I cannot believe we still haven't axed that stupid concept of making short winter evenings even shorter

Day 4

I built my daughter a new loft bed today and the Minichamp was put to work!

Orange peeler as a package opener…
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Tip of the file/nail cleaner to lift the locking lever on three of the largest zip ties I’ve ever seen…
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

And the cuticle pusher to pry up a plastic cap that needed adjustment.

Here’s the finished product!
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Now if only the Minichamp could have helped with all the darn hex bolts!

Edit - I will admit to being a little surprised the Climber I had in my pocket for back up/emergencies was not required for this project. The Minichamp did it all!
