True, and apparently I was raised in one according to my dad since I was always leaving doors and gates open.  :hatsoff:

I can relate! My dad, and my grandpa was always saying that to  us  kids.  I thought for the longest time, they want to keep the flys inside.  As we had no air conditioning.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

👍. Juan    :pretend it is coffee😉

Day 20

Up early (earlier) as I am dog sitting. Staying at my house but keeping dog at daughter’s home.  So gathered up a kit for breakfast and my EDC including coffee mug.

Dog was peed off at me for leaving her last night😉.  Left her crate.Went to living room and laid on couch facing away from me!  Put down her breakfast, then fixed my breakfast and coffee.  Started eating then she ate, and then asked to go outside.

Let her back in, returned to couch but this time started talking (not barking) for me to sit and pet her😁. Glued to my left thigh.

Anyways , breakfast with coffee and OhT…

Plus, only 6 degrees F, windchill -12 this morning.

Sounds like a nice way to start the day for me  :D

6 degrees though... !

Day 21

Repeat the same as Saturday!

Back at daughter’s, dog, CoCo, not as mad as yesterday.

Forgot my favorite coffee at home, so French Roast again, in moderation today.

Temperature is colder, was 3 F. Now as sun is rising temp is dropping, now 0 F.   No cloud cover to hold temps warmer.  But sun is a nice change with high near 20 F by late afternoon.

Yes it does look like a day to stay inside. With a warm brew, good book and gentle music, cuddle with a luv one!

At least that is my wish list. Instead switching to hot chocolate, reading a ebook on the table.  A pup on my hip, reminding me to scratch her ears, and reviewing new posts o. MTo !!!  And maybe football this afternoon .(American)

Appears the winds are conflicting off the west coast.  Gives some bumpy weather I expect.  😵‍💫😜

PS: The OHT is unique with raised images on the handles. The BO was exposed to concrete surfaces during projects.  Character building excersise that works for BO models.  I would take extra care with Coyote or SS model and especially the CAMO MODEL. 😉
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Good morning Stitch and Gordon!  It actually came out warmer here today, 20 degrees F, than called for.  I don't envy you those winds off the wonderful North Atlantic Stitch !

Breakfast looking good there Gordon!

Day 21

21 days in and I really like this OHT tool.
As a child, I was a big Peanuts fan, Snoopy especially.  I named my rabbit Snoopy, seen below in the photo.
Was tickled pink when Apple came out with a Snoopy animation on their watch.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Hello team
My  most humble apologies I have unfortunately been absent.
All is good however in the land of Paul.
I did have a bad day on day 17 and ended up in the usual every day occurrence of the delightful 40 km long traffic jam that happens in Auckland , NZ, every day almost.
Why people live and work there is beyond me. I never  got to posting a pic that day and then it all fell over and I got a small dose of cantbestuffeditis .
Anyway I missed a few days so am out of the challenge. I will add a few pics and finish off posting for the rest of the challenge.
Here is one pic anyway. I finished up the Lego Landrover much to SWAMBO's delight as she can now have back the dining room table.

Hello again.
I need to post another pic.
I was using my BO REbar (gifted by SOS24 last year, thank you again) as my EDC until the challenge came along.
I did not notice the Rebar was actually MIA because I was using the OHT. I had a thought I had not seen it but thought it must be in my other pants etc .
Anyway yesterday She Who Always Must Be Obeyed ( SWAMBO) asked if I had lost one of my LM's. I said I think not as I have not lost one since 1998 but then she produced the Rebar from beneath the sofa cushions .   A wee happy reunion that has prevented any panic that would have arisen on 1 February when the OHT was retired.

There are some great pics from the rest of the team, Thanks. I am however not envious of the snow and cold. Here we having temperatures varying from 27 to 30C in the middle of the day.

Paul I love that Land Rover!  I don't see why you can't just submit photos to catch up.

Lisa, I have nothing but respect for school teachers.  Good for you for making a career of it!  :tu:
