Hockey Hall of Fame "SAK"

It's Chinese, some of the tools do have a satisfying snap, but some are quite loose and you just know you'd lose a finger if you tried to put it to the test. But I've been passing through Toronto on a trip to visit friends and, well, I couldn't resist. When in Rome and all that. :whistle:

Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Must put something in order and provide link to the post. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Alox SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Case knife  for 30 days Participate and post a pic of your vintage SAK (1986 or earlier) everyday for 30 days. Participate in a challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Cybertool (any variant), Swisschamp, Champion or Toolchest for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with a photo showing the Hook in use Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with pictures of a Fish Scaler in use Start a thread with photos of at least twelve different colored ALOX models in your collection Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Bladeless Multitool for 30 days Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Start a new thread and post a photo of an Executive or Director for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Must start a thread with a photo of your birth year SAK Join the brave and happy few, who choose a different path. Enter on the boulevard of broken dreams. Start a new thread and post a photo of a traditional folder for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with photos of your zip ties in use Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days.

Cool.  I like the wood scales.  Did you get to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame?  Friends and seeing different places.  Doesn't get much better.  Best wishes.  Gary (IMR)

I have the same model from Colonial Williamsburg, I think. It's... not completely useless. Been thinking of using it for a knock off challenge at some point.

It's likely the same model. I'd definitely give it a go if a knock off challenge got up and running.

i had one that was pretty much exactly the same except it had the lighthouse form Peggy's Cove on it (I think) and my name on the back. 

I think the first time I tried to use it I tried the screwdriver and the torque was enough for the brass pin to snap and the whole end f it came apart.

My suggestion would be to keep it for it's appearance and the memories it brings up and never, ever, EVER actually try to use it for anything!   :tu:
