RIP Bobi (31 years, 165 days)

In the news today, the death of Bobi, the oldest living dog. He was a Rafeiro Alentejano. According to his keeper (owner just doesn't fit here), the reason for his longevity was being loved, having lots of freedom (never used a collar), eating the same as the family he lived with and having lots of friends, both human and animal.

This sad news was announced, not only in Portugal, but around the world.

I have never heard of this dog before this thread, but now I am as sad as if I've known him his whole life.

RIP Bobi.  I hope your longevity is contagious and many other dogs are as lucky.
