Drat!  Not a fan.  I have all of the years of the Alox.....aargh what to do.

I actually like the color,  hopefully it is not too dark in person. As a side, the Hunter Pro kind of boggles my mind in general, but especially as an LE. To my eye it is very ugly, and expensive for what it appears to be. Of all the discontinuations lately it seems crazy that the HP made the cut. I would prefer the spread be 93mm, 84mm, and 58mm for the LE.

I agree about the Hunter pro. I preferred the original LE lineup of the regular pioneer, cadet, and alox classic.

Well, the brown is a little different than the purple and yellow and so on that we have seen in the past.  So that's sorta cool.

Seems too soon after the grey of 22 to me, would’ve preferred a deep blue or green….im bound to get one just cos I have the others

Well, it’s different, I suppose….. Would have preferred a bright green, maybe 2025!? I’ll obviously get one, and I do wonder what it will actually look like in real life as opposed to the web?

Poop jokes aside, and excluding the fact I won't get one as I don't care for the Hunter Pro or Pioneer X, my guess is these will look better IRL than the Photoshop product image suggests.

It's just a personal hang up of mine - there's something in my brain that doesn't want to carry/use a SAK (or other tool) that I can't easily replace if I lose/damage/break it.

I believe that's by design, actually. I have the theory that Vic's latest policy for the yearly limited editions is to simply cycle between conservative/subdued and original/loud colours. Or it could just be coincidence, of course.

I totally understand, I was mainly joking.  I have a personal "no shelf-queens" rule, but I understand others don't.

Yes! A combo tool as thick as the 93mm awl would be very very interesting.

Yeah I realized my mistake after looking through the Evoke thread.  I checked youtube and could only really find “desktop reviews”  and no one really testing it or speaking to its actual use. I am not sure why YT creators have taken to calling unboxing videos reviews. Maybe someone will do an Evoke challenge here and show it more in depth.

I agree with most, this is my least favorite colour so far. I'd think it will actually still look nice in hand.
As someone above said, I am not a collector but an enthusiat user, so I am only looking at the LE models if I want a particular model or color.
I would be more interested by switching models regularly for the LE collections. But that may not appeal as much to collectors who are the main target.
And I agree about the Hunter pro/Evoke. As a user, there are a lot of knives I'd rather get even at cheaper options.
I am really here for the multi-tools SAKs.

And yes please, Cadet X.
My first Cadet has become instantly my most carried knife from day one and for the past month.

I am really curious on how well the Hunter Pro actually sells. I would presume most are bought by collectors.

First of all--it's probably NOT legal in most of Europe.

Secondly, for the $100-125 range it goes for here in the US, there is a myriad of knives in astronomically better steels with better ergonomics. Even Vic's own range has better knives--the Hunter XT, 111mm Hunter, and Rangergrip 57.

I need to see one for real. Brown is an awesome knife color. These pics are just bad. My chocolate fudge/root beer Rambler is beautiful.
