They’re available now on the UK Vic site at least, si I assume elsewhere too. Just ordered a pair of PXs, one for a fellow member who lives round the corner from me! Cannot wait to see it for real!

They're my favorites too!   Followed closely by 2015 and 2022.  Everybody else ties for 3rd place.  :)    Funny how the world still seems to not appreciate 2016 -- even today you can find these languishing for sale.

I think only the 2019 doesn’t deliver as a colour for some reason…. I wish I’d bought an extra 2019 and 2020 to create my own kingfisher variants as the original pioneers are prohibitively expensive and rarer than hen’s teeth, but I was new to modding back then and hadn’t discovered the pivots with torx screws…..  Cracking pic, Sneider, and glad Vic did eventually send you an announcement, Myron!  :cheers:

The preferred color is a matter of taste, it's nice that there are so many colors.
When I started collecting Alox there was hardly anything new to buy other than silver. (Except advertising knives)

My least favorites are 2019 (a bit pale) and 2018 (red is just not that special for an Le, even if it is a bit brighter)

Purple is just one of the rarest Alox colors.

I’m definitely biased, but the 2018 is my favorite. It was a gift, so sentimental  and I’ve me edc’d it for 5 years. Plus, I still associate a SAK with red.

Oh, that's what you mean. As far as I know, Victorinox works with RAL colors when anodizing.
Maybe they simply took the name from RAL8028 - terra brown.

Color is somewhat subjective, and we'll never know if the color I see is the color you see, but I'm getting a hint of gold and a whiff of olive drab in there.  Almost as much bronze as brown.  Plus, anodizing aluminum is as much an art as a science, and maybe there is variance in the batches.

I think Vic needs to send the LE's out to MTO members for pictures pre-release and use those for their marketing.  Their photoshop abominations are truly awful.

Mine arrived today and the color is even better than I had expected!   I bought two, as is my practice, but now I'm thinking I might need a third, hah.   2024 is definitely my favorite Alox LE color released so far, but there's no accounting for taste, I guess.   

I poured a cocktail and got them all out tonight and took a picture, but then realized I mixed up '20 and '21 in order.... Sigh...
