Mine arrived today and the color is even better than I had expected!   I bought two, as is my practice, but now I'm thinking I might need a third, hah.   2024 is definitely my favorite Alox LE color released so far, but there's no accounting for taste, I guess.

I poured a cocktail and got them all out tonight and took a picture, but then realized I mixed up '20 and '21 in order.... Sigh...

What a great scene you have there Myron. Drinking by the fire with a fine collection of Alox  :like:

Nice pic, Myron - I see you’ve also snuck in a 2016 Damast PX too into the line-up!

Oh, that's what you mean. As far as I know, Victorinox works with RAL colors when anodizing.
Maybe they simply took the name from RAL8028 - terra brown.
Yes, of course, gladly!  :)

Aha That is interesting and good to know Thanks for the info

The photo is in - Check Wiiki Alox page Tnx again

@ Myron - That image just has to go into the Wiki
Can I ?  ???…..  pretty please :D

Yay, my 2024 PX turned up this morning, so a quick snap with other 93mm alox goodness - the box will need some rearranging, poss move the Nespresso knives to another alox colours box to make more room for the year LE colours….. I’ve officially passed the 100 SAK mark now…..

@Folder, thank you Lisa!  The table is a thing of my own making, just a slab of Walnut with four steel hairpin legs screwed onto the bottom.  :)

@Rizio, thank you Henry and good spotting.   I did put my 2016 Damascus in there, and then regretted not putting my 2010 Damascus Pioneer as well.   I'm super glad your 2024 has also arrived.  Your collection looks great!

@Enginears, thank you sir!  I live in Michigan, and we're having a very cold and snowy winter so I take comfort where I can...  :)

@Huntsman, thank you and I'd be honored to have a picture in the SAK Wiki!  If you do such things, please credit Parker Erickson, who took the picture.  Thank you!

Hi Huntsman,

Yes, I have a 2010 Pioneer that I found used.  It doesn't bother me that the scales have some pocket wear -- the knife looks great as-is!

@Myron: What an atmospheric picture, LE-row on beautiful wood, by the fire...
The wear matches the 2010 Damask well - Rare sight.

@Rizio: Congratulations on breaking the 100 SAK barrier.  :salute:
What a beautiful array of Alox beauties. I will never get tired of looking at such beautiful SAK compositions.

@Huntsman: Thank you so much for your work on Wiki!

I love worn alox.  I'd rock this knife in a second.  :like:

Funny that Victorinox didnt make one small change to Alox LE editions, why didnt they change can opener for Box Opener. I bet those would go even faster than normal versions.

Hmmmm - Change the toolset on a model ?   ???    That's a bit radical for Victorinox   :o    :D

Also expect a backlash from the collectors ....    :o :o
Remember what happened when the switched the Pioneer and Cadet for the Pioneer X and the Hunter Pro.
