What are the badges all about? What is the EDC pocket dump all about?

Badges are just kinda a fun thing, that and to just kinda show off like a ranking of things you’ve done or have, as for a pocket dump it’s basically what it says, all the tools and toys you carry in your pockets and just dump it all out on the dresser, then just take a pic.

There are Site, Modification, User, Collector and Challenge badges for participating in a particular challenge. If you go to your profile and click on >Available awards you will see the list of all available awards and their badges and what's required to get them.

Merit Badges Start a new thread and post a photo of the Leatherman MiniTool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the 110 knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. The challenges are a really good way to earn badges with the advantage of getting to know everyone

You can join a group challenge or start one of your own. If you start one and add it to the list above then others will probably join you

Usually you try to use a particular tool, (PBMT - pliers based multi tool , SAK - Swiss Army knife, etc ), for 30 days, each day you post a picture using it or just a glamour shot if it wasn’t used
