I was hit with the MTO curse and bought 2 Victorinox Garants. I wanted to see if this could replace and minimize my edc. Got a spare as well. Never carried a 111 mm before though.

Anyway, I’m not one to turn down a free screwdriver. Even the crappy ones are great pokers and pryers.

By the way is the Garant supposed to be rare? Seems readily available.

If you want to do the math:
Total was $122.65 (approx $10 for tax and another approx $10 for shipping). If you subtract the $16 the SAK comes around to roughly $53.

Tax rate was probably for California.

The Garant is produced only for Hoffman.  So I guess they are somewhat rare in that regard, as its the only place you can get them AFAIK.

Ok thanks. One YTber made that claim so I got confused. He may have meant the Phillips version.
