So as suggested I have stopped lurking and have signed up. I originally had a SAK back in the 80's but I gave to a friend in Thailand. In the late 80's I replaced it with the 91mm Champ I still have the same knife however the Phillips and the corkscrew have taken rather a beating over 30 plus years. So with encouragement from youtube plus the great pictures of knives broken down here on this site  I have ordered an Explorer and am going to repair the Champ.
Practically the only part I have no use for is the fish scaler anybody any thoughts of if it is possible to leave it out?

Welcome to :MTO: Mark :cheers: I actually made a mod very similar to what you are talking about ;) the Master Ranger that I made is a Champ minus the scaler and an inline awl in place of the small knife blade :cheers:
