Two carabiners that I can't live without.  The first one is a Nite Ize locking carabiner on my key organizer.  Holds those little doohickies that you get points with at the stores.  The handcuff key is a memento from when dad used to work security.




The second one is another Nite Ize that I keep on my laptop bag so I can hook my water bottle to it.  Quick story on the messenger bag.  I found it next to a dumpster at my then apartment complex.  It had small hole in it that I patched up and I used some brown shoe polish on it to darken the color.  I've been using it for over 10yrs now and it hasn't let me down.

Start a new thread demonstrating paracord knot tying Start a new thread with photos of your hobo knives in use Start a new thread with a photo showing the Swiss Army Knife   Toothpick being used in an unusual way. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Classic SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with photos of your slasher/chopper/machete knives in use Start a new thread with photos of your carabiners in use Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK-alike, aka multi-layered, knife-based pocket tools for thirty (30) consecutive days. Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Start a new thread with a photo of custom or non standard SAK scales in your collection Start a new thread and post a photo of a flashlight as part of your EDC Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a MiniChamp SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days.

I also use an Nite Ize carabiner, but once in a blue moon it comes undone in my pocket.  Now I see that you are using a locking version.  Perhaps that's the solution to my little nuisance.

Congrats on the badge.  That bag sure has held up.  Good job on upcycling it and getting all those years service from it. 

The locking NiteIZE carabiners are great.

Wife and I also found them at Academy on our way to checkout.  My tags kept popping off in my pocket as well so I resorted to a bit of heat shrink to stop it from opening as often.  This is a much better option.  :D

I really like Nite Ize carabiners.  I've had one of their products on me or on my bags for many years now.  I'm unsure of their quality, but I like that they're venturing out into the multi-tool arena.

S-Biners are so handy.  I also like Nite Ize G-hook carabiners as well.
