Hey,new here with charge xti

Hey, thought I'd reach out here on this forum, iv recently got into folding knives and had bought a few budget knives (ekko, elementum, ronan). I told my step dad about my new hobby and he ended up giving me a still in box leatherman charge xti and a little puma folder. He said the xti was new, and after doing some research I think it's best I keep it unused, I think they stopped making them? Anyways I'm trying to figure out what's best thing to do with the xti, prob end up posting it in sell forum, just having hard time finding prices. This may not be best spot to discuss this, still learning about forum rules and stuff. Anyways happy to be here

Personally I would use it, the XTi is great and covered by Leatherman's 25 year warranty. Yes it's discontinued and a lot of us carry and use stuff that's no longer being manufactured. If you were to sell it I would think it would fetch a hundred more than retail when it was new.

Thanks for the info. Yea I'd consider using it if I was doing things that required those tools but I don't often at the moment. I think it would be better off with someone who can appreciate it more than myself. It's been sitting in a drawer for last 3 months with my massive SMKW exclusive opinel 13 I won from national knife day giveaway, I'll most likely try to sell also lol. Then maybe I get myself a hogue deka or spyderco sage. We shall see.

I mostly use an image hosting site for pics, like Imgur :salute: but I also have an Android app called Photo and Picture Resizer :cheers:

Ohh ok I'll Def look into the photo hosting sites then ty.  Yea I can't believe I won, if u youtube smkw national knife day giveaway day 8, I believe thats the day,u can see the exact opinel 13 I won.. they didn't tell me what I got till it was shipped, I'm happy with it but man did I want the neon green protech malibu on that giveaway day lol,,or the sharpening kit.

I use Imgurs desktop site on my phone (not the app) through Chrome (sometimes it doesn't want to go to the picture pages though :dunno: ) and use the bbc code so that it posts the pics directly in the forum post  :cheers:

Yea  had thought about that a few times, I'm not sure I'm completely comfortable yet spending over 100 on a knife lol I think what I'll do is sell it and buy a 75ish $ knife. Looking at the new kizer cryptid.
