Hobo Friday

    I thought it was about time to dig out my old Gutmann hobo knife and use it.  Might be good for a Hobo Badge?  Not too many of those out there.  Very small pizza and a mineral water.  I used a hobo tablecloth (newspaper).  Ate outdoors of course.  Nice and breezy today after the rain stopped.

     Japanese made hobo knife has a great cap lifter.

   Used the blade to slice up pizza.  I hit it with the Schrade Honesteel.  Came out pretty sharp.

    Of course you need a fork to keep hot drippy pizza grease off your hands.  Best wishes.  G

Meal finished.  I didn't do a hobo clean-up (throw the trash out on the ground).  Old hobo knife got used for the first meal in a really long time.  I used to eat with it as a kid.  Now and then.  Best wishes.  Gary

I've got one of those old Hobo knives around somewhere.  Got it when I was a kid.  I can remember carrying it clipped onto a key holder and it just bumping my leg when we went out exploring.
I need to dig the old girl out.
