I really dig the knife.  It was on sale at a local hardware store and i picked it up more or less as an impulse buy.  It's been in my pocket ever since.

So why do you need the incan bulb if you have an LED light?

I just had room in the battery carrier for one. I actually like to use it when I'm feeling "Old School".  8)

I had said I'd share a shot or two of my "home-brewed urban wallet", so here is what's been riding in my front right pocket for the last couple of months:

Front and back, closed:

Front and back, open:

Zipper side:

Other sides:

Made of water-proof tent fabric, a ykk zipper, and an afternoon of elbow grease. :D

The Maratac flashlight is a recent addition, replacing a Fenix L0D. Also the PocketWrench is sometimes replaced by a LM bit card and a Vic mini ratchet.

I'm also putting together a camo version made of ripstop cotton fabric from some older BDU pants I had lying around. That isn't waterproof but it turns out much slimmer and supple.

Thanks mate. If you do, please post a shot or two. That was my first major attempt at sewing anything (other than holes in socks and pockets ::)). FYI I plan to try putting the zipper on the top in its next incarnation so that I can open that section without removing the wallet from my pocket. The veclro flap did all the difference for me as I'm now not afraid of something falling out of the wallet when I sit in some deep sofa or similar (plus I can take it off my pocket without everyone taking glimpses of what I carry ;)).

Sowing looks good to me mate, well spent afternoon I'd say :salute:

I'm not much in to velcro but it's such useful stuff. You could do a closure with neodynium magnets or something maybe? There must be no taking glimpses or your shinies  ;)
